Practices
There is a lot we can do to help our mental wellbeing. The most important thing is to use techniques and practices when appropriate and not let them become automatic. Despite what people say about 'good' habits, when an action or pattern of thinking becomes automatic (we are no longer conscious of doing it), we cease to enjoy most of the benefits and could fall pray to piling on conflicting practices.
